The National Hockey League is nearing an agreement with some of the retired players seeking damages from the league for head trauma they endured while playing, Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman is reporting.

On Friday, forbes.com was reporting the class action suit against the league was on the verge of being settled for $18.9 million. Of that amount, $6.9 million would go to the players, amounting to $22,000 per player.
