Hughes, Makar and Kubalik named finalists for Calder

Defencemen Quinn Hughes and Cale Makar, of the Vancouver Canucks and Colorado Avalanche, respectively, and left winger Dominik Kubalik of the Chicago Blackhawks have been named the three finalists for the 2019‑20 Calder Memorial Trophy, the league announced Wednesday.
