The NHL and USA Hockey will team up for the bi-annual Try Hockey For Free Day at more than 450 local rinks across the United States on Saturday. USA Hockey launched the endeavor almost 10 years ago to help try and minimize cost and commitment issues of families who want to see if hockey is for them. The events are free and designed for children between ages 4-9. No skating experience is necessary and certified instructors will be on the ice to help.
