About Carrot River Community Centre
The Carrot River Community Centre, skating arena, opened in 1981 originally, and had artificial ice added in 1990. Significant upgrades to the facility have taken place from 2014 to 2017 culminating with a grand re-opening on November 4, 2017. Together this community has invested well over $500,000 in a short period of time to bring this facility up to standards required to be home to first class sporting events. A full program of minor hockey and figure skating is offered in addition to Junior B hockey and adult recreation hockey teams.
