1. BACK 2 BACK
Both teams are looking to get back into the win column after suffering losses in their previous game... The Flyers play the second of games on back-to-back nights... This is the first of 14 back to back sets and, after tonight, the Flyers won't play another set of back-to-backs for over a month (Nov. 23-24)... Last season, the Flyers posted a much better record in the second game of a back-to-back, going 8-5-3, compared to the first game of back-to-back where they went 6-6-3... Of the 14 Flyers back-to-backs, the second game is on the road on a total of 13 times, including tonight.

2. SENS ARMY
The Sens come into this season with the departure of two of their Top 3 players in scoring last season with Erik Karlsson being traded to San Jose and Mike Hoffman being traded to Florida... They have five players on their squad who are 21-years-old or younger, including fourth overall pick from this past summer's draft, Brady Tkachuk... The Sens defense has combined for 10 points so far this season, the third most in the NHL behind Toronto (16pts) and Chicago (13pts).
3. SCORE TO SETTLE
For both teams, all three contests have seen a high amount of goals scored with both teams combining for 24 goals through their first three games at an average of eight goals per-game... The Sens are 1-1-1 and have been outscored 11-13, while the Flyers are 1-2-0 having been outscored 9-16... The Flyers have scored eight of their nine goals in the first (3) and second periods (5)... Ottawa has four players (Zack Smith, Ryan Dzingel, Chris Tierney and Thomas Chabot) who have recorded points in all three games so far... Claude Giroux (4a) is the lone Flyer who has recorded points in all three games.

For the second straight night it's Wayne Simmonds to watch... He has three goals in the Flyers first three games to lead the team and is tied for the team lead (with Giroux) with four points... Simmonds has nine goals and 16 points in 23 career games against the Sens, including six points (3g-3a) in his last six games played at Scotiabank Arena.
SENATORS (D: #72 - Thomas Chabot)
The 21-year-old blue liner is in his second full year in the NHL and currently leads the team in scoring with five points (2g-3a) in three games and recorded at least a point in each of the three games... His five points also are tied for second among all NHL defenseman... Chabot was the 18th overall pick by Ottawa in the 2015 NHL Draft and now has 30 points (11g-19a) in 67 career NHL games, including one assist in two meetings against the Flyers.
