AHL goaltender Tristan Jarry scores an empty-netter

Goalie Tristan Jarry scored a goal for Wilkes-Barre Scranton in a 5-1 win against Springfield in an American Hockey League game Wednesday.

Jarry, a Pittsburgh Penguins prospect, scored into an empty net with 1:25 remaining in the third period to make it 4-1.
He is the first Wilkes-Barre/Scranton goalie to score and the 14th AHL goalie to do so.
Jarry got the puck in front of his crease and shot into the opposite net from there.
Jarry has not played in the NHL this season. He was 14-6-2 with a 2.77 goals-against average and .908 save percentage in 26 games (23 starts) for Pittsburgh last season after making his NHL debut the season prior.
The 23-year-old is 4-4-2 with a 2.98 GAA and .907 save percentage in 10 AHL games this season.
