COL-line 11-15

The Colorado Avalanche won the battle between two of the best forward lines in the NHL when Mikko Rantanen (one goal, two assists), Nathan MacKinnon (one goal, one assist) and Gabriel Landeskog (one goal) fueled
a 6-3 comeback win
against the Boston Bruins at Pepsi Center on Wednesday.

It was the NHL-best fourth time this season that Colorado (9-6-3) has scored six goals in a game. The last five goals came after Boston took a 3-1 lead in the second period.
Rantanen, who regained the NHL scoring lead with 29 points (seven goals, 22 assists) in 18 games, had at least three points in a game for the fifth time this season, tying Boston center Patrice Bergeron for the NHL lead.
Colorado's big line has factored on 37 of 65 Avalanche goals (56.9 percent). Only Boston's David Pastrnak, Bergeron and Brad Marchand (67.8 percent), and Evgeny Kuznetsov, Nicklas Backstrom and Alex Ovechkin of the Washington Capitals (64.4 percent), have combined to factor on more team goals this season.

Pastrnak keeps scoring for Bruins

Pastrnak had a goal and an assist against Colorado for his third consecutive multipoint game. The goal was his NHL-leading 17th of the season. He's the 11th different player in NHL history aged 22 or younger to score at least 17 goals through his team's first 18 games.
Boston (10-6-2) will play its 20th game at the Arizona Coyotes on Saturday. Only one player in Bruins history has reached the 20-goal mark within Boston's first 20 games of a season: Phil Esposito did it in 1973-74.

Wheeler keeps rolling for Jets

Blake Wheeler had an assist on Mark Scheifele's game-tying goal in the
Winnipeg Jets' 3-1 victory
against the Capitals at Bell MTS Place to extend his point streak to 11 games, matching the longest of his NHL career. He also had points in 11 consecutive games from March 20 to April 9, 2016.
Wheeler is the second player in Jets/Atlanta Thrashers history to have multiple double-digit point streaks, joining Ilya Kovalchuk. Among active skaters, Pittsburgh Penguins center Sidney Crosby has the most point streaks (nine) of 10 or more games in the NHL.
Connor Hellebuyck made 27 saves and is 6-2-1 at home. He is 51-17-4 at Bell MTS Place since the start of the 2016-17 season. Only Capitals goalie Braden Holtby (53) has the most home wins during that span.
