Source: Senators to interview Patrick Roy for coaching vacancy

The Ottawa Senators are set to interview Patrick Roy for their vacant head coaching position. The Ottawa Sun originally reported the news.

Roy, 53, spent three seasons as head coach of the Avalanche before departing in 2016. He finished with a 130-92-24 record in 246 regular season games. He’s currently coaching the Quebec Remparts of the QMJHL in his second stint with the team.
