The Philadelphia Flyers will have Carter Hart back in net on Saturday against the New York Islanders after sitting him for two games earlier this week.
Hart struggled in the Flyers net in March, prompting head coach Alain Vigneault to announce on Monday that his netminder would be given a two-game break to work on his game.
"He needs to work harder, he needs to work better," Vigneault said of Hart, according to NHL.com's Adam Kimelman. "I've had a good conversation with him ... about my expectations, about his practice habits and him stopping the puck."
The third-year netminder posted a .815 save percentage and a 2-6-0 record in March while the Flyers as a team gave up an NHL-worst 4.41 goals-against average per game during the month.
Brian Elliott started in Hart's place this week as the Flyers split a two-game series with the Buffalo Sabres.
